Hi,
As per your age, you are in the perimenopausal period and it is quite common for the cycles to get greatly disturbed and present in all sorts. I would ask you to see a gynecologist and get a complete exam, hormonal profile, pap smear and a trans-vaginal sonogram. It is advisable to have a complete check up often during this phase. You may need hormonal supplementation if the bleeding does not arrest. Also, please maintain a healthy diet, exercise and a healthy weight. Hope you find this information useful. Good luck.
