Infant Waking Up With A Hoarse Voice, Cough. Due To Teething?

My 9 month old has been waking up with a hoarse voice the past couple of days. She has been warmer than usual, which I attributed to her teething but she also has a mild, deep and raspy cough. She hasn't been sleeping well at night either, which I also originally attributed to her teething but now I am think she could possibly have croup. How can I tell if it's croup and should she see her pedatrician?

Hi,

Croup(Laryngobronchitis) is mostly of viral nature. It sometimes leads to critical narrowing of the respiratory tract.

It is advisable that he should get examined by his doctor to rule out this possibility and if there are breathing problem or inability to feed well then admission is mandatory.

Take Care
