Poking Through Gums, Hoarse Voice, Runny Nose. Started Teething. Is It Normal To Get Hoarse Voice While Teething?

Hi,
My eight month old recently started teething. He now has one poking through the gums, and three more on the way.
For the past few days, he's had an extremely hoarse voice. I thought maybe it was from crying, but he hasn't done much of that, surprisingly. I checked for a temperature, and I've been watching for a runny nose or a cough, thinking maybe he was getting a cold. But he doesn't have any symptoms.
Is it normal for a baby to get a hoarse voice while teething?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hello,

Your child has a hoarse voice but has no other symptoms like cough and cold. In this case teething seems to be the cause of his hoarse voice. Do not worry about it, it will go away on its own.

Hope that helps.

Regards,
Dr. Preeti
