Infant Having Viral Fever, Given Ibugesic Plus Syrup Which Does Not Contain Paracetamol. Will It Help?

My daughter is 8 months old. She has viral fever for last 3 days. My family doctor advised me to give her ibugesic plus syrup which contains paracetamol but somehow due to some confusion we gave her ibugesic syrup which does not contain paracetamol. Now I dont know what to do?

Hi Dear
welcme to the HCM
Nothing to worry.Ibugesic contain simple ibuprofen. This ibuprofen has also got antipyretic activity and it will also work to reduce the fever.
But simple paracetomol is supposed to be quite safe for the children.
Hope the query is answered.
Thanks
