Hi and thanks for the query,
High fevers in a child deserves a careful examination. It is however very imperative to calm the temperature for fear of having a convulsion. Fever lowerng agents are very appropriate. Your doctor or pediatrician shall check the child for a possible infection, bacterial or viral.
She needs a careful examination to check for lung, throat, ear or sift tissue infections. the choice of treatment strongly relies on a careful physical examination and laboratory tests. Kind regards
