Infant Having High Temperature. Suggested Advent Kid Tab, Metal P And Ambrodil Syrup. Meet Pediatrician?

My daughter is 7.10months old since last 6 days she is having high temp around 100 to 102 doctor suggested advent kid tab and meftal p suspension although using dosages regularly every 6-8hours temp is back using meftal for every 8 hours these many days is safe or do I need to meet pediatrician again also using ambrodil syrup

Hi, As you are using the fever medication from long time, and you say the fever is recurring, I suggest you to go meet the pediatrician again, so that she will order necessary blood tests to find the cause of the fever and she might start your child on antibiotics. Fever medication for 1 week doesn't leave a side effect, but with out knowing the actual cause, its not advised to continue, unless if its diagnosed to be viral in origin.
Please consult the pediatrician.
