Infant. White Patches Over Face. Given Bendex Albendazole Susp And Betamethasone Cream For Topical Application. Other Medications?

Hello doctor good afternoon , our 12 months old baby boy has white patches over face , especially perioral area since 2 months ...till now we didnt consult any doctor ..we heard of tinea alba and worm infestation ...we have given bendex albendazole susp and betamethasone cream for topical application ...pls suggest any other medication ...Thank you in advance.

Hello,

Thanks for writing to us.

Cause for white patches on face has to be evaluated and treated.

I would advice you to avoid frequent use of soap,allergic creams etc.

Cleanse your face daily,apply moisturizer.

Avoid oil based creams,soap etc.

Continue with the medicines or cream as per doctor's prescription.
