Indigestion, Bloating, Acidity And Tender Abdomen During Ovulating Day. Could Indigestion Symptoms Be Caused By Ovulation?

Severe indigestion (I assume) began last night after my meal. Felt very bloated although I didn't look it, burning or knawing feeling just under my breast to above my naval, nausea, belching and gas pressure-it was horrible. Today it is better but still there and just realized I'm ovulating today. My lower abdomen is still tender to the touch but feeling better since having a decent bowel movement within the last hour. Could the horrible indigestion symptoms be caused by ovulation?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
Let me tell you something that the word indigestion is more slang word difficult to explain or define, it is not included in medicine to explain any pathology in fact it is not like indigestion, here in your case the ovulation and the system of digestion are nothing to do with each other the lower abdomen tenderness is pretty common at this time but it will come around in few hours and no need to worry about it have nice day.

Welcome to HCM.
There is always mild to moderate lower abdomen pain during ovulation on the related side.
Your symptoms is most likely due to dyspepsia, acidity and gaseous stomach and it is not related with ovulation.
It usually occurs after oily, spicy, heavy food.
You have to take rebeprazole/pentoprazole with domperidone to subside nausea, burning.
If pain is severe then take nsaid with dicyclomin .
Eat simple,high fiber diet.
Avoid spicy,oily diet.
Make regular habit for your diet pattern.
Drink more water and other liquids.
Consult your family physician for proper medications.
