Increased Pain In Bone Of Mid Thigh At Night, Radiating Pain From Leg Upto Gluteus. Little Help From Heat. Help
3 months right mid thigh bONE pain - dull ache worse at rest and night - last 2 weeks increase in pain at night and at rest - panadol not affective - keeping me awake and once asleep waking in pain at about 4 -5 am every morning - trouble sleeping on rht side - if I do the pain radiates down my leg and up into make glutes - heat helps a little - have to turn electric blanket on before getting out of bed in the morning - worse in cold weather -
Hi ! Some information on the investigations done till date would have been helpful. If no investigations have been done till now, I would suggest you to go for basic blood tests like CBC, ESR , serum Vit D3 and calcium estimation, and an x-ray of the thigh. If nothing is conclusive, then an MRI of the lumbo-sacral region may be helpful. However, you should consult either a rheumatologist or a orthopedician before going for all these tests.
