I took a pregnancy test and it said i was pregnant, but my dr. didn't see anything then sent me for blood work, what happen ?

Pregnancy positive means..it is confirmed...
After confirmation ..
Any Doctor will send the blood for further investigation ..i.e, complete blood picture to safe guard the present pregnancy...
