I Think I May Have Had A Heart Attack

i am 15 year old girl, i weigh 115 lbs and am in the normal range for my BMI (Body Mass Indicator) i am skinny, but ive never really eaten healthy. i am like, junk food/snack every hour and like always eating junk food, but i was on the plane a couple days ago, and all of a sudden, m heart started pounding really hard for absolutly no reason, and it was like...squeesing me, and it hurt really, really bad. my jaw also had very sharp pain on the left sdie only, near my cheekbone, it was very intense and very painful. it lasted for a few minutes (the jaw pain i mean, the heart sqeeszing had stopped) then was gone. i was thinking about it a couple minutes ago and i looked up the symptoms and found the very same things i had. its about midnight so i cant really tel anyone until about 5PM tomorrow. so can a teenager like me have a serious heart attack?? and did i actually have one?? alright to answer questions: i have never had a panic attack and am not clstrophobic; i feel totally at home on a plane; but my mom has panic attacks when the plane ride gets bumpy, but i tend to like the bumpyness soo... no, we were on a plane, and it was a five hour flight and it was forgotten about, so no, i was never taken for a checkup on this or to the hospital and no, no drugs or diet pills or anything of the sort. this was also the fisrt time i have expirenced any of this. the only meds i was ever on as far as i can remember ever was a pill to treat my toenails, and ive just recently stopped them.

Have you been using anything you shouldn't have been? Diet pills, drugs? It could have been an anxiety attack. I had one a few weeks ago and literally thought I was dying (I'm only 20 and in great health). It was scary as $h!t. I had similar symptoms to yours. The only way to know for sure is to go to the emergency room. They can run tests to check your heartbeat (EKG), give you a chest x-ray), and run other tests to determine if you've had a heart attack and if so, what the damage is. They'll also run blood tests to check for blood clots and heart disease. It's best to get it checked out ASAP because it could be causing further damage. A regular doctor's office does not have all the equipment to do all this. They can do an x-ray, blood work, and an EKG at best. *If you think you're having/have had a heart attack, it's not a bad idea to wake up your parents and tell them. Feel better! =)
