I Still Got My Periods Even After Using Duphaston To Delay Periods

My doctor prescribed duphaston to delay my period for my wedding but I've just come on my period (the night before my wedding) I followed all the instructions - what went wrong? Should i switch to another tablet in the morning?
FYI I was due on my period on the 26th and started taking the tablets on the 23rd.

Hello dear, I understand your concerns but at times patients get their period despite of taking the progesterone regularly. Most common cause is fluctuations in timing of intake of drug or missed pills. Now taking same pills won't help you in relieving them.
