I have pus pockets on my tonsils and anoids

I have had this throat infection for 7 months now i have pus pockets on my tonsils and anoids, wart - like lesions of bumps on the back of my throat, my lymph nodes swell up, and i've gotten darker colored bumps where some of the pus was. I went to the doctor they said it was only a sinus infection and they gave me antibiotics which made me feel better for a while but now its just as bad.

Hi.. Sinusitis can cause recurrent throat infection if not treated completely. An appropriate antibiotics is needed after a complete evaluation for the presence of other factors that could lead to persistent infection.. You can talk to your doctor to know the other factors contributing..

Its not a simple infection. Get your Lymph Node Pus done for the following,
AFB smear, Fungal smear, Smear for nocardia, Gram stain and Bacterial C/S. You will find the Infection and then you can be treated with appropriate antibiotics. Also get an FNAC done of the lymph nodes. Get your HIV status done.
