I Have Low Iron And Blood Count

I have just come out of hospital with dangerously low iron and blood count. I was given daily iron via I.V. for two weeks. Anyone know how I can keep the levels up? (I was feeling really really weak) am feeling a bit stronger daily). I also have diabetes

You need to eat a good balanced diet with iron and protien rich foods. If the levels are still low, then they would have prescribed you medications to continue. Do not stop taking medications on your own. Go for regular follow ups. Keep your sugars under control.

you should have to take iron rich vegetables like beetroot,spinach,along with that ayurvedic medicines like karisalai lehyam-1 tsp,bd,bf,ayakantha chendooram+balarishtam-25ml,bd,af,you can take beetroot juice+lime daily

A good healthy diet rich in iron can help you maintain your blood iron.Take diet containing spinach;beet root;and fruits like apple;banana will help you.Also continue taking oral iron tablets if prescribed by your doctor.Keep good follow up with your doctor.
