I have had a very painful infection in the roof of my mouth for over a week. I just took my last z pack yesterday. Also had a steroid shot this past Wednesday. Went for a scheduled dental exam/cleaning and my dentist said it appears I have a viral infection. Should I just tough it out at this point? Doing the old fashioned remedy of gargling with salt water. I'm not used to being sick!
