I Have A Black Spot In My Mouth And Swelling On Roof Of Mouth

Hi, I just recently noticed that on the roof of my mouth there is a dark red almost brown swelling. It looks as though it is a blood clot. I do not recall burning my mouth or anything of that nature. Do you think you have an idea as to what it is or if it is serious or not?

Welcome to Healthcare Magic
Do you smoke. There could be many causes for that clinical picture. It could be a pyogenic granuloma which is a swelling of vessels. It can be removed by surgery if it is this diagnosis. I recommend you consult a Dentist and get it looked at as soon as possible.
