I have a 9 x9 x5mm mass within the left pituitary, deviates the infundibulum to the right, mildly depresses the roof of the left sphenoid sinus. Extends slightly into the medial aspect of the left cavernous sinus, abutting the medial aspect of the cavernous carotid artery. No mass effect upon the optic chiasm or optic nerves. the mass is mildly hypoenhancing. What kind of treatment is usually recommended for this diagnosis? my symptoms are headaches mood changes weight gain, and no menstrual cycle for over five years.
