I Had Surgery To Correct A Deviated Septum And Enlarged

I had surgery to correct a deviated septum and enlarged turbinates two months ago. The right side of the septum has a spot that is (and has been since a week after surgery) infected. After cleaning it out this past week, my doctor found that patch of the septum is bare-bone. What are the options for fixing this? Will the covering grow back on its own with time?
