Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
hi, 6 months ago i had a corn under my right heel , i underwent a surgery in january to get rid of the corn but the pain still exists and its getting worse, its getting difficult to even walk and stand, please help
Hi;
welcome to HealthcareMagic
The corn is a difficult thing to remove as most of the time small part or can say root is left out.If the excision is complete it does not grow but if it is not again it can come back.Please see if the corn is back;if corn is completely gone but still you have pain the other possibility is a calcaneal spur which is a small over growth of bone of heal it is also painful when you stand or walk .It can be differentiated by getting a X-ray done.
Please consult your doctor to find the exact reason of pain .
Take care.
Thanks

After removal of corn if you have pain , this needs re examination.Did you have good rest after the surgery ? Did the pain persist even after the surgery or did it reappear ?Did you get an x ray done?
Please provide these details and we can give you better advise.
