I Had A DVT Last Year But It Has Gone

I had a DVT last year but it has gone now. I am travelling overseas and my GP recommends I use Clexane injections. I had them in hospital and they hurt and leave large bruises on the stomach and I am sure I would not be able to inject myself, I have often fainted in the past with injections. My question is, does Clexane come in tablet form and would they be suitable to prevent another DVT?
