I Am Suffering From Typhoid From Past 45 Days
I am suffering from Typhoid from past 45 days, the temperature wont exceeds beyond 99.7F but remains in between 98.4 to 99.7F.I am taking medicines and after that temp comes down to 96F till medicines have their effect, later it shoots to 99F+.Please guide me. Thank you.

Hi.. Persistent infection needs to be treated with appropriate antibiotics.. A better choice of antibiotics guided by a culture and sensitivity test can help in treating any persistent infection.. Discuss with your doctor regarding these.. Continue with proper and healthy nutrition..

Thank you for the reply. I too got ESR(Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate) high in my blood reports, may be because of some infection my Temperature is not coming to normal. Can you guide me the perfect Physician in Hyderabad city to cure my disease?

typhoid is caused by the typi bacilli. It spreads by the feco oral route. Hence i would advide you to continue on the antibiotics till the stool culture on two occasions come negative. Also a change in the antibiotic may be necessary if you are resistant to the current medicine. If the fever worsens i would advise you to call your emergency number immediately. Drink water which is purified, boiled and cooled. Wash your hand regularly. Avoid heavy foods and foods like meat till the symptoms subside. Have adequate water. I hope i have answered your query.
