I Am Having Swollen Throat With Slight Body Aches And It Hurts When Swallowing

one side of my throat is swollen, it s felt this way for about 2 days; today being the second. today i started having body aches and throat is still sore . it doesn t really hurt when i swallow, but hurts when i turn my head left and right.

Hi,
it seems that you have got throat infection resulting in spreading in the lymph nodes causing pain during head movements.
Take one course of antibiotic and antiinflammotry medicines.

i was trying to avoid going to the doctor and taking a prescription. how long until the infection goes away on it's own, and any home remedies recommended would be of help also. i've been drinking a lot of warm liquid, and started a warm salt water gargle.
