I Am Having Cutting And Suicidal Thoughts
If I m having cutting and suicidal thoughts should i get help in a psychiatric hospital again..because in the past i have a long history of being in mental health treatment centers and hospitals for cutting and suicide attempts,,the problem is if my urges get really bad i will act on them...i just need a answer from a professional!thanks Skylar

As you have got suicidal tendency you require urgent to consult psychiatrist as this may produce very serious problem to your life.

hi i am a psychiatrist so i am answering ur question yes having suicidal thoughts are dangerous as in the past u havvve taken treatment u should start taking treatment from a psychiatrist next u should be on a regular check up with ur psychiatrist who can moniter ur drugs so the psychiatristv also will be on examining u will be able to get to the bottom of ur illness and treat you .so dont nrglect please immediately consult a psychiatrist in your area wish you all the best from dr manjula rau

my younger brother has battled with this same urge for the past few years. i strongly suggest getting professional help as soon as you can. you could really hurt, or even worse, kill yourself. be well and be safe
