I am a 65 year old woman who fell down some stairs and landed on my head on a stone floor. No open injury or cuts. Did not see MD. This was over a week ago. I have felt fine except for a low grade headache and continued soreness on the back of my head where I landed. Although the lump has subsided, the area feels warm to the touch. Is this heat a possible sign of a hematoma?
