HI MY NAME IS NASREEN I M SUFFERING FROM HYPOTHYROIDSM FROM PAST 7 YEARS AND EACH TIME I HAVE MY TSH TEST DONE ITS ALWAYS HIGH THE VALUES ARE HIGH RECENTLY THE DEST WAS DONE IN MARCH AND THE VALUES WERE 12 SO PLZ TELL ME A NICE WAY TO LOWER MY TSH LEVEL AND BE SAFE OR TO TOTALLY REDUCE MY THYROIDS I WANT TO BE BACK AS I WAS BEFORE NO THYROIDS FOR ME PLZZZZZZ
dear nasreen , hi, thanks for being with HCM. let me share with you few facts which may be of help to you. 1. hypothyroidism is a condition where your thyroid is not working appropriately, so you are being treated with thyroxine replacement which as i mentioned is a replacement for your thyroid function not a treatment for your thyroid gland. so hypothyroidism is a condition to stay for which you need long term treatment. 2. you have not mentioned the dose of your thyroxine replacement. whatever dose you are taking you need escalation to bring down your TSH. see your doctor and do as s/he says. all the best.
