Hi,
Thank you for the query and Welcome to HCM forum.

Less thyroid hormone or Too much thyroid hormone both can cause delayed period. So,You should recheck your Thyroid status. It is very important.

If you thyroid profile is ok and you are not pregnant, assuming you are not using any contraceptive medication, You need to know that your eating habit, activity level, body weight , even mental stress all can cause period irregularity.

You didn't mention, Is this the first time you are experiencing delay ? Or, you had previous history ? If there is no previous history then you should wait and observe.

If this is an old problem then consult with a Gynaecologist and Endocrinologist.

You have already taken a hormonal agent, Bleeding should start within 2/3 days, if not you can wait upto 1 week.

Hope, this helps.

Hi,
You can repeat hpt & if negative wait for another 3-4 days. Other option is to repeat course of progesterone if your hpt is negative.
Wish you good health.

Hello and welcome to HCM

Ma'am you have mentioned that you had last periods on October 28. Today is November 12, 14 days since your last menstrual cycles so you can safely wait for 14-20 anothar days.

Hypothyroid patients have menstrual irregularities. But after appropriate hormone replacement the menstrual abnormalities are corrected.
Have your periods regularizec after taking eltroxin?
If yes then you are responding to treatment.
But, why are you worried this time. Its been only 14 days since you menstruated (as you have mentioned).

Thanks and take care
