Huge, Red, Painful Lump On Forehead, Pus And Blood Oozing After Squeezing, Swollen Eyes, Pus And Blood Oozing. Any Ideas?
I have a huge red painful egg sized lump on forehead. Yes i squeezed it using a qtip and rolled it firmly to the point where the head would form then squeezed. A thick mixture of pus and blood came oozing out. Beforehand though my eye under the bump became very swollen and is even more so now. The eye looks small compared to the other. Is this same mixture of pus and blood forming around and under my eye?
Hello, Welcome to Health care magic It seems from the history that you had a painful swelling on the forehead, following which you are having swelling of the eyelids. This is indicating preseptal cellulitis, inflammation of the soft tissues of the eye lids and soft tissues surrounding the eyes. This happens to be a serious condition as if not treated may lead to orbital cellulitis. The treatment is by oral antibiotics and oral antiinflammatory drugs. Hence I advice you to consult ophthalmologist and start treatment immediately. Thank you
