How To Use Susten Vaginally During Pregnancy?
Hi I am 29 years old . I am 5 weeks 4 days pregnant as per Ultra sound report . My LMP was on 4th March . My doctor prescribed me to insert Susten 300 in the vagina . I am not sure what it does , how to use it and for how long would i keep it there .Please help .

hi,its a slow release preparation of a micronized progesterone which is given to provide additional support to the pregnancy till the placental function starts fully.at bedtime with a clean index finger just lighty reposit it in the vagina.dont try to push it very far.it will dissolve on its own and need not be removed.some sticky discharge can be observed with the same but it is perfectly normal and not a matter of concern.take care and all the best.
