How To Treat Swollen Feet In Diabetics?

my father is having NIDDM for 24 yrs. recently he took hifenac sr 10 tabs for a toe fracture. He went back to the orthopedic doctor for persistent swollen foot and was giving ditide. however this morning before taking first tablet of ditide his other foot was also swollen. Kindly advice on what to do next. thank you!

Hello,
Swelling in both feet in a longstanding diabetic gives the suspicion of heart failure.
You must consult your physician or a cardiologist for proper cardiac evaluation.
Uncontrolled hypertension can also cause swelling in the feet.
Other reasons could be involvement of kidney or liver problem.
Get yourself examined and investigated properly.
