How To Treat Swollen Feet Bunions Where Metatarsal And Toe Bone Aren T In Line With Each Other?
So I have bunions on my feet. The joints on both of my feet are really swollen to the point where I have worn holes in some of my shoes and my metatarsal and toe bone aren t in line with each other. I m 20 and they never really bothered me until the last two and a half years. They have been getting worse and worse. Ive been for a doctor for them but she gave me options, such as wear open shoes, buy the braces from the store, and take an anti-inflammatory. None of these have helped me. Now they ache almost all the time. I just wanted to know if you had any advice on what I should do or what my next option would be?
If shoe modification does not working than other option is surgical correction of deform. This will give you good cosmetic correction but how much Pain relief you will get will depend on many factors. Like your joint condition, muscles weakness. I hope you can consult about this option with your doctor.
