How To Treat Stomach Discomfort With Vomiting, Acid Reflux And Headache?

i have had an upset stomaq and a headache all day and when i got home i had it bad i was almost ready to puke but thenn later on i gagged with l burp with acid and then i felt a bit better but a couple mins later my stomaq didnt feel good. i did another gag thing and could tase the acid eww... then aght after i puked so ya i have a upset stomaq now and i have the worst feer of pucking so i have anxiety about that. please give me some advise on what to do and i want to sleep but i can because every time i lay down i feel like puking again.

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in.

The possibilities in your case is either migraine or acid reflux disease.

I would advise you to take an antacid like pantoprazole for a week after consulting your doctor. Do take a tylenol for your headache.

Also, do the following....
1. Avoid oily, spicy, fatty food.
2. Avoid carbonated beverages, tea, coffee, smoking and alcohol.
3. Regular exercise 30 minutes a day 5 days a week.
4. Avoid lying down immediately after having a meal. Wait for at least 2 -3 hours after your meal before lying down.
5. Wait for 2-3 hours after meal before exercising.
6. Drink warm water at regular intervals.
