I've had a fairly bad sore throat for a few days, a little congestion and a coating on my tongue showed up today and I have a low grade fever. I do not have tonsils and it doesn't feel like a sinus infection. My daughter had strep about 3 weeks ago but went on antibiotics pretty immediately.
1.salt water gargles 2.more water 3.spicy and fried food less 4,amoxiclav antibiotic needed 5.antiseptic diluted solution gargles 6.for fever paracetamol can taken..
Take rest.
If still after 5 days not improving I would suggest throat swab for culture ....
