How To Treat Sinus Headaches Following A Bout Of Sore Throat?

last Friday I came down with a really bad sore throat ,that has since cleared up and gone now i m having like sinus pressure headaches up till just yeaterday I had a bad running nose that is now dried up and I have jus a little cough ..but the sinus head aches are a problem and today is the first day i m feeling alittle better. i m on thyroid med so I m not sure what I can take. I m not coughing up any thing it has been clear to thick flem at times. thanks

hello,thanks for your query, in my opinion you are having sinusitis, where sinus openings are clogged up with thick secretions causing sinus pressure. you need to consult ent surgeon for mucolytics to thin the secretions and antibiotic course for acute infection.mean time you start steam inhalation to thin the secretion and patency of nasal passages. hope i have answered your query. all the best. take care.
