How To Treat Rheumatoid Arthritis?
I have recently had no energy, no interest in doing the things I used to do or go places I used to go. I feel like my heart rate is pacing but the E/R has checked it and said it was my nerves. I have anxiety disorder and thyroid disease. I have been in the medical field for over 38 years, with back pain, (severe) migraine disorder with migraines 3-4 times some weeks and 2-3 most, sciatia and knee pain but was told the ct scan was good so it may be rheumatoid disease and have asked my medical physician on 3 occasions to please do some blood work on my thyroid and to check for the arthritis because our orthopedic is new and does not know anyone around this small town or where to send me.

Rheumatoid arthritis is a disease that is autoimmune in nature. It affects mainly synovial joints like the joints of hands, feet, although any joint can be affected by it. Just like various chronic diseases like diabetes, hypertension and ischaemic heart disease are not curable but controllable; rheumatoid arthritis is also controllable.
With proper medication you can lead an absolutely normal life without any pain or disability. The drugs usually given are methotrexate ,HCQS,Sulfsalazine along with folic acid and pain killer.
It is not advisable to stop medication on your own as it only leads to accrual of joint damage and leads to joint deformities. So keep a positive attitude and take regular medication; also exercise regularly.

My advice would be visit a rheumatologist/physician for evaluation and treatment.
