How To Treat Nausea,diarrhea?

Hi, my wife has had abdomnial cramping, nausea, vomiting, "greasy" diarrhea and no fever for several days now. Seems like a high likelyhood of giardiasis. What are some other things I can check to determine whether or not that is a positive diagnosis?

Hello welcome to the health care magic

This type of presentation suggest towards following causes....
_bacterial enterocolitis
_Parasitic infection like amebiasis, giardiasis, hookworm etc....
_malabsorption syndrome
_bacterial overgrowth syndrome etc....

According to cause specific treatment given

So for rule out above causes stool examination should be done first

Then if needed stool culture can be planned

Take probiotic tablet until then...

Drink lots of water to maintain hydration.. ORS also should be taken to replenish lost electrolyte

Take care

Hope your concern solved
