How To Treat Left Ear Heaviness And Hearing Loss?

I am suffering from heaviness of left ear and loss of hearing power.
I have taken seven days medicine
as follow ;
tab. Augmentine 625mg tds
tab febrex LP bd
tab. sporolac bd
tab. pantop 40 od
and norogyl nasal drop.
prescribed by ent specialist.
But I have no relief
so, I request to you please advise me.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have left ear heaviness and hearing loss which could be due to Otosclerosis meniere's disease , autoimmune inner ear disease , very loud noise , acoustic neuroma , physical head injury. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan , blood test , examination with otoscope . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics ( amoxicillin or penicillin ) , anti inflammatory medications. Doctor can recommend you surgery. You should use hearing aid as that is the best treatment possible. For now apply warm dry compresses , start taking ginkgo biloba supplement and drink green tea thrice a day .
