How To Treat Joint Inflammation?

I have inflamation in different joints that comes and goes. I will be sore for a couple of days and then fine for a few more and then it will come back in a different joint. It also includes the hands - specifically the index finger becomes sore and tight - I can t squeeze my hand shut and don t have any strength in the hand. Blood tests only show a rise in some liver enzyme everything else is fine. Any ideas what this might be? Thanks for your help. Felicity

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi As per your description it appears to be fleeting arthritis ( Transient synovitis) in which only one joint is involved at a time. The treatment for this condition is anti inflammatory pain killers only when required. If it is very frequent then i suggest medical check up.
