About 6 night ago I experienced excruciating pain in the upper left of my head. It was like lightning flashes, every couple minutes. The next morning it felt like I had been hit in the head with a brick. My hairdresser had a hard time cutting my hair because of tenderness. Since then I have experienced milder pains in the same spot, and remains tender to the touch.
Hello, Thank you for your question and welcome to Health Care Magic. I read your query and I understand your concern and the anguish that you are having.
It seems that you have a migraine. A migraine is a recurrent type of headache which occurs due to a certain trigger factor. Some triggers are: Weakness Illnesses Anemia Colds Fevers
It is possible that you have a soft tissue injury on the scalp which is causing the tenderness. This is what is causing the problem. You can manage this by icing the area. This will help to prevent the headaches.
Also, you can take Ibuprofen to help you. Take Ibuprofen 400 mg twice a day so the pain reduces and the swelling goes down.
Follow up after 5 days. All the best. Hope this helps you. Feel free to clarify further. Dr Vignan
