hello,
1) your symptoms are suggesting possibility of GERD. In this condition diaphragm opening from which esophagus enters into stomach get loosen which cause stomach acid to move upward and produce symptoms of GERD.
2) another possibility for prolonged symptoms of nausea, burning pain are suggestive of H.pylori infection associated severe gastritis which require specific antibiotic course for 14 days. if you take medications only for gastritis without antibiotics then it is possible to develop repeat gastritis as underlying infection is not corrected.
3) you need repeat evaluation with upper GI endoscopy with stomach punch biopsy for RUT test for H.Pylori infection and also to have look for symptoms of GERD and changes of esophagus.
4) change if color of stool indicate gastritis related dyspepsia in which insufficient digest would occur due to less production of acid in stomach
