How To Treat Dog Bite/scratching?
Hi.. I am Sathish from India.. on Saturday Nite I had a scratch because of pet dog. I am not sure if the dog is medicated for anti-rabies also I am not sure if it was the dogs teeth that strached me or its nails. it was very small scratch and even no blood came out. I have not taken any injection till now. is it fine If I take medication for dog bite after 48 hours.

Since you don't know much about dog ,whether it was vaccinate or not vaccinated , so the best precautionary measure is to take ANTI RABIES VACCINE as day 0, 3 , 7 14 , 30 ( count day 0 when you get injection).
Clean the wound with anti septic solution like povidone .
Get in one injection of tetanus toxoid intramuscular .
