How To Treat Dizzy Spells While Having Type 2 Diabetes?

I continue to have dizzy spells. One day ok next day another spell when I awake. I have diabetes 2 and take medication, also high blood pressure. i urinate more liquids at nite than I take in during the day. Iam 84 years plus.
I am very tired and do not sleep well.

Thanks for asking.

Dizzy spells could be because of low glucose in blood, low Oxygen supply to brain and because of electrolyte disturbances. As you have mentioned that you are having dizzy spells every other day you should get your HbA1C tested which will guide weather your blood sugar level is properly controlled or not ?
You have mentioned that you pass a lot of urine at nights, This could means that your DM is poorly controlled or you have B.P.H. ( am increase in the size of your Prostate). You should get your prostate assessed by ultrasound before and after voiding urine. Similarly ultrasonography of your carotid arteries in your neck called doppler studies can help find any problem in blood supply to the brain.
You should consult you G.P. and dizzy spells can lead to fall and this could be very dangerous for some one at the age of 84. Please take care of this and You are welcome to ask any further questions in this regard.
