How To Treat Cough After An Episode Of Cold And Cough?

hai sir,i have cough since 6 days along with common cold which got cured but cough still get remained.cough is intermittent comes after eating and drinking cold water.wheezing sounds were heard on auscultation.and even there is production of mucus is more.

The cough associated with the common cold can persist even after all of the other symptoms have resolved.

It can sometimes last up to 6 weeks.

Since the cough is associated with the production of mucus you may want to consider the use of a mucolytic.
This is medication to help break up the mucus in the chest. Examples are bisolvan, mucomyst, guiafenesin, ambroxal

Should be available over the counter.
