How To Treat Chronic Migraine?
Hello! Thank you for your question on HCM! I appreciate your concern! I would recommend you to start on a prevention therapy for migraine in order to reduce the frequency and severity of migraine attacks. Amytriptiline and nortriptiline are antidepressants very effective in migraine. Other drugs of first choice would be topiramate or valproate. These drugs should be given under doctor prescription and should be started slowly. Hope to have been helpful! Greetings! Dr. Aida
