How To Treat Back Pain And Herniated Disc?

I am a 61 year old female working in a professional field in the Midwest. I recently had injections for sacroilliitis that haven't worked. I have a 10 year history of back pain include g a l4 l5 herniated disc and sciatica. Injections of kenalog and radio frequency nerve ablation worked well 5 years ago. What can I do now?

I have gone through your query.Usually sacroillitis pain will improve after corticosteroid injections locally.If not improving then it is not your cause of pain.For Lumbar herniated disc and associated back pain i advise NSAIDs like aceclofenac muscle relaxants like thiocolchicoside and neurotropic drugs.Lumbar supporting belt is also helpful in many.I also send them for physiotherapy along with this.If there is no improvement or worsening of pain a surgical correction can be considered after an MRI of Lumbar spine.Hope this may help you.
