I have atrophic rhinitis. I am on O2 at night 2ml for central sleep apnea. There was an odor that was not pleasant. A nurse practitioner gave me a prescription for Flonase. I haven t used it because it is a steriod and I see that it can be contraindicated. I have nasal polyps. I just started irrigating my nasal passages 2 times per day with a saline mix. So, is there more I can do? I am working away from home and will not be seeing my doctor for two months. What can I do to keep this condition from flaring up again.
