How To Treat Acute Febrile Encephalopathy?
My niece had viral meningitis at the age of 7.Now he is 11yrs old.Last month one day he had headache ,vomitting with high fever and diarrhea.Same night he was admitted in hospital unconscious in ICU.And he was discharged after five days diagonised as Acute Febrile Encephalopathy.And after a week again he had same symptoms when returning from school.He has headache , vomitting, fever.But no diarrhea.He was shown in a nearby clinic but he went unconscious and was admitted in hospital in ICU.Now he is discharged after four days.But he looks discomfort ,irritational and not taking food.What to do?
