How To Treat Myotonic Dyphropy In A 11 Year Old?

Hi I would like to know of a doctor who specializes in pedriatrics of muscle diseases-I guess a neurologist-in the Middletown NY area? My 11 year old niece has been diagnosed with myotonic dsyphropy (not sure of the correct spelling, sorry). Any help you can give me would certainly be appreciated. Thank you.
