Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
The dermatological conditions are hard to discuss without seeing them. So I can only give general advice.
The area is going to get worse before it gets better, and it is likely to have some skin falling off.
Medical intervention is going to be helpful at that point. For pain acutely, Aspirin-like drugs and the ice is about the only things likely to do anything.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Matt Wachsman
