How To Relieve Burning/stinging Skin In Diabetic?

My husband age 69 , he is a diabetic. For the last month has burning, stinging skin mostly in the evening till he goes to sleep with pain meds. He is taking Cymbalta 30 mg. everyday. My neighbor told me her is on Cymbalta 300 mg each day for skin pain , she also is a diabetic. I m thinking he may need a stronger Cymbalta pill. He has gone to dermatologist, and three other medical doctors. He is so miserable, we have 18 different creams and lotions nothing has worked . Please help us.

Hi,

I think, your husband may be having diabetic polyneuropathy. Consult the neurologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment. I would recommend you to give him pregablin 100 mg thrice a day under supervision of doctor.

Hope this helps.
