Hello dear, welcome to HealthcareMagic forum. Raised ESR is not a disease. It is the manifestation of some underlying conditions. To reduce ESR,we have to find out the cause, and treat that. Common conditions causing raised ESR includes infections anywhere in the body, inflammatory conditions like poly arthralgia(you are having knee pain),and some other important causes(like malignancy/hematolgical disirders etc). To find the cause,we have get a detailed medical history,do a physical examination, and may be some investigations also. You can consult a physician. He can guide you. Thank you.
